I screen all of my appointments to make sure that I am the right artist for you. Please fill out this interest form to request an appointment with me. Filling out the form does not guarantee an appointment.  I will send a response to your email in 3-5 business days. Thank you so much for your patience!

Should I do anything leading up to my appointment?

Ideally, you should lightly exfoliate your skin 2-3 days before your tattoo appointment (exfoliating the day of your appointment or the day before may lead to irritation or sensitivity during your appointment). Moisturize the area every day leading up to your appointment. Make sure you are hydrated; drink plenty of water for a couple of weeks before your appointment. If you prepare your skin in advance, it will make the tattooing process easier and it will result in a beautifully healed tattoo.

What should I bring to my appointment?

Please bring:

  • A valid photo ID that has your birthdate on it, you won’t be able to get tattooed without it.
  • Please come with a full stomach. It’s very important to eat a good meal right before you get tattooed, to avoid feeling faint.

What should I wear to my appointment?

Overall, come comfy and in something that you don’t mind getting ink on! If you are getting a tattoo in one of these areas, please consider wearing what is listed below or something similar:

  • Rib, hip, and sternum tattoos – please wear a black string bikini so that I can access the area that I need to get to. A tie-able bikini makes it so that I can tape the strings out of the way while you are still covered up.
  • Spine, back, and shoulder tattoos – if you are getting your upper back tattooed, a tank top will do. If you are getting a tattoo that goes lower than your shirt, please bring a button down shirt that you don’t mind getting ink on. You will be wearing this backwards to keep yourself covered, while allowing me to be able to tattoo your back.
  • Leg tattoos – please wear shorts or pants that can be rolled above the area that I am tattooing.
  • Arm tattoos – please wear a short sleeve shirt or tank top that is out of the way of the area that is going to be tattooed.

I need to cancel, what do i do?

If you need to reschedule, please let me know 48 hours or more in advance. Click the reschedule or cancellation link in your confirmation text or email and follow the directions.

  • If you made a deposit and give me 48 hours’ notice, your deposit will be applied to your rescheduled appointment. If you do not give 48 hours’ notice then the deposit will pay for the appointment time that could have been offered to another client.

where do you work and where should I park?

I work out of Recon Tattoo in Fallbrook – 106 E Mission Rd, Fallbrook, CA 92028. There is parking available on the street directly in front of the tattoo shop, parking on the side of the building, and parking behind the building.

Do you require deposits?

I typically require deposits for medium sized tattoos and larger. I will let you know if you need to submit a deposit when I respond to your interest form.

  • Please note: the deposit is non refundable and goes towards the total amount of the tattoo. If you make a deposit and need to reschedule, please let me know at least 48 hours before your appointment and the deposit will be applied to a future appointment. If I’m not given 48 hours then the deposit will pay for the appointment time that could have been offered to another client. I can take an in person deposit at the shop, when requested, or you can Venmo me.

Are there areas of the body that you won’t tattoo?

I do not tattoo hands or feet. Some exceptions are made for tattoos that slightly extend onto the hand or foot. I don’t tattoo private areas, some exceptions are made for mastectomy scars.

Will i get a confirmation email or text?

You will receive a confirmation email immediately after booking your appointment. You will also receive a text and email asking you to confirm your appointment, 72 hours before your scheduled appointment.

what type of ink do you use?

I typically use Dynamic Ink. I am open to using different brands, if requested before your appointment date.
